Founded in 2017 by Brazilian architect, designer, restorer, researcher and collector João Uchoa, Gabinete is a reference in the golden age of collectible design of Brazilian mid-century furniture, objects and art.
With a catalogue of over 3,000 carefully sourced pieces, our work is rooted in extensive historical research, uncovering and preserving significant design narratives.
Backed by rigorous historical research, in-house restoration, and seamless global logistics, we curate a collection of over 3,000 exceptional pieces for the world's most distinguished collectors and institutions.

Our founder
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
