Brazilian architect and designer Percival Lafer studied at Mackenzie Presbyterian University in São Paulo before taking over Móveis Lafer with his brothers. He introduced industrial innovations and versatile construction methods, creating furniture that combined comfort, ergonomics and affordability while helping the company expand into international markets.
